Family Literacy Night was a success!!!

Thank you parents and students who attended our annual Family Literacy Night!

It was a success…Thanks to you!  I hope you all had an evening of fun and togetherness!

Remember all Palmer Way students who attended Literacy Night may come to the library during recess with their ticket to choose their free book!

Palmer Way library is not just for students……….Parents may check out books too!

Dear parents:

You may check out books for your child throughout the school year.  Since many teachers assign daily reading as part of the homework, this is a great opportunity to take books home so that your child can continue to read. Parents may check out up to seven books. If you are interested in checking out books for your child please stop by the library to register.  All it takes is just a few minutes!

Library Hours:

• Before school 8:00-8:15am
• During School 8:15-9:00am
• Recess 10:00-10:15am
• Lunch 11:45-12:30pm
• After school 2:35-3:00 pm
• CLOSED: Thursday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.

I also encourage families to visit the National City Public Library.

They have a great assortment of books and there is no limit on how many you can check out. So READ! READ! READ!
